Six mois après le décès de son grand-père et tuteur, Mizuho se voit obligé de se travestir afin d'intégrer l'école Seiô. En effet, devenir élève dans cette prestigieux établissement, fréquenté par sa mère avant lui, était la dernière volonté du défunt aïeul. Personne ne doit bien sûr découvrir ce secret, et seuls Mariya, son amie d'enfance, Hisako Kajiura, son professeur, et la mère supérieure sont dans la confidence. Mais comment faire quand on est un homme depuis son enfance, qu'on lève la cuvette quand on va aux toilettes et que l'on parle de soi en utilisant le terme boku ? Le pari est d'autant plus difficile que la présidente des élèves, Takako, voit d'un mauvais œil la popularité grandissante de notre héros. Popularité qui va lui permettre de concourir au titre d'Elder (sorte de Miss parmi les troisièmes années de l'école) avec l'aide de ses nouvelles amies Shion, Yukari et Kana…
